Cone bottom bulk storage tanks
Cone bottom bulk storage tanks are vertical vessels that have cone bottoms, cylindrical side walls and closed tops. These vessels are roto-molded from natural, translucent, high density polyethylene (HDPE) with UV inhibitors.
Customers choose cone bottom bulk storage tanks for applications where complete drainout of stored liquid is required. These tanks are not free standing; a metal stand is needed to conform to the cone and support the tank.
These modestly priced HDPE tanks are suitable for holding many liquids (see our chemical compatibility information) at densities up to 1.7 for indoor or outdoor service. They can be used as:

Every cone bottom bulk storage tank is equipped with an outlet bulkhead fitting at the apex of the cone, a threaded lid on the top and a molded-in level scale.

Standard cone bottom bulk storage tanks are usually available from stock in most sizes. Colored tanks, thicker walls and specially configured tanks are available on short lead times.
Most of these tanks are also offered as electric-powered mix tanks or gasoline-powered mix tanks.
